Omani delegation tours Senate

AMMAN — A delegation from the Omani Council of State on Monday visited the Jordanian Senate. The delegation met with Culture, Youth and Sports Committee President and member of the Omani-Jordanian Brotherhood Committee Haidar Mahmoud, who stressed the depth of Jordanian-Omani ties.
Mahmoud also highlighted His Majesty King Abdullah's and Sultan of Oman Qaboos Bin Said’s stances concerning Arab and regional issues. The Omani officials came to learn from Jordan’s experience in the democratic process, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Secretary General of the Senate Khalid Louzi gave the delegation a briefing of the Senate’s procedures and both sides agreed to exchange more visits.
