AMMAN — The Jordan Nurses and Midwives Association (JNMA) on Sunday decided to postpone a work stoppage that was planned for Monday over the specialisations by-law, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
JNMA President Mohammad Hatamleh said the association’s general assembly decided to reschedule the strike after talks with the Health Ministry, which agreed to negotiate amending the new specialisations by-law.
The by-law aims to organise the issuance of specialisation licences and the levels of technical categories for nurses and midwives.
