Nuclear research reactor to be completed by year end

AMMAN — The nuclear research reactor project will be completed by the end of this year, Jordan Atomic Energy Commission Chairman Khaled Toukan said Monday.
At a meeting with the Lower House financial committee, he said the $130 million reactor, of which $70 million is funded under a Korean soft loan, will remain under experimental operation for six months.
