Nuclear programme a state project — Momani

AMMAN — Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammad Momani on Tuesday said the Jordanian nuclear programme represents a state project and it is not an exclusive private project for the government or the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission.
At a meeting with several columnists and journalists, attended by the commission’s chairman, Khaled Toukan, Momani, who is also government spokesperson, said the nuclear project will be used for peaceful purposes to provide the Kingdom with stability and to ensure its energy independence.
