AMMAN — The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) celebrated the graduation of its 2000th Syrian refugee student from the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) training course this week.
The ICDL programme, which is certified by the regional provider Specto, provides an internationally accredited IT course, “which seeks to enhance the skills and capabilities of Syrian youth”, said a statement released by NRC.
In 2018, NRC expanded the ICDL course outside the camps and introduced the training in Ramtha in partnership with the Youth Without Borders Association, and in Mafraq with the Al Asayel for Creativity and Art Association.
