Norway royals visit beneficiary school in Salt

AMMAN — King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway, accompanied by HRH Prince Ali, on Tuesday visited Nusaybah Bint Ka’ab School in Salt, which Norway has supported through establishing one of 18 football stadiums in schools and camps around the Kingdom.
Prince Ali welcomed the Norwegian king and queen, expressing his appreciation to Norway for its continuous support to Jordan through the projects it conducts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Norway’s Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen noted that the 18 stadiums were created through a Syrian refugee project in Jordan by the Norwegian Football Federation, which works closely with the Jordanian Football Association, expressing her appreciation to Jordan for opening its schools to over 130,000 Syrian refugees.
