All samples collected during the past 24 hours came back negative, the director added.
The northern governorate's Director of the Health Affairs Department Qassem Mayas also announced that epidemiological investigation teams will collect new samples from the contacts of a truck driver who tested positive for the virus.
Based on the results, Irbid’s executive committee for crisis management will look into lifting the three-week comprehensive curfew imposed on a local neighbourhood, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
