New members of HCD board appointed

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the appointment of new members of the board of the Higher Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities (HCD) for three years, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The members are: Faris Sarayrah, Rula Odeh, Mohammad Abu Milhim, Rabiaa Majali, Islam Zghoul, Mariana Khanoyan as representatives for visual, hearing and physical disabilities, Miran Sariyeh as representative of parents of people with mental disabilities, Abdullah Owaidat, Andrew Carpenter and Yousef Qaryouti as representatives of distinguished members of the disability community.
The HCD board consists of a president, several ministries’ secretaries general, six representatives of people with disabilities, one representative of parents and three people known for their distinguished service in the disability community.
