New governors sworn in

AMMAN — Newly-appointed officials at the Interior Ministry took the oath of office before His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday.
The officials are: Hussam Ouran, head of the human rights directorate, Falah Sweilmin, director of the inspection and follow-up unit, and Mohammad Daajah, director of the political and civil society organisations department.
In addition, Saleh Shushan, Ghaleb Shamaileh, Qasem Mheidat and Ahmad Jaradat were sworn in as the governors of Balqa, Maan, Mafraq and Tafileh respectively, while Ibrahim Assaf was sworn in as governor at the ministry.
Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh and Interior Minister Hussein Majali attended the ceremony.
