AMMAN — The National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) at 8am on Thursday suspended operations under its emergency plan as the effect of the weather depression that peaked on Wednesday began to recede, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The depression brought heavy showers to several parts of the Kingdom, accompanied by thunder and hail in some areas. NEPCO said it received 2,456 complaints during the rainstorm, most of which were individual cases that were resolved “promptly”.
