National IT centre lacking in specialised staff — report

AMMAN — The National Centre for Information and Technology lacks the specialised technical cadres, according to a report prepared by the Ministry of Public Sector Development, the Civil Service Bureau and the General Budget Department.
The report, referred to the Cabinet, said the jobs at the centre are not in line with its duties, recommending preparing an administrative manual for the centre's management.
The project to match human resources with the duties of government departments is part of an executive plan to develop public sector performance for 2014-2016, which aims at reshaping the government sector to become more qualified and efficient, Public Sector Development Minister Khleef Al Khawaldeh said in a statement.
