AMMAN — The Jordan Logistics Association (JLA) and Dubai Ports World (DP World) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote interests of small- and medium-sized shipping companies in Jordan.
The memo, which was signed on the sidelines of the first Global Freight Summit 2022 in Dubai on Saturday, would prompt the association's members to join the Digital Freight Alliance, according to a JLA statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The alliance is a platform which sells digital services and integrated supply chain solutions to its customers under a registered freight broker agreement inked by the two sides.
JLA president Nabil Khatib and DP World Chief Operating Officer Mike Bhaskaran signed the agreement.
