Moderate weather forecast for weekend

AMMAN — The weather during the weekend is forecast to be moderately to relatively hot, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

As for Saturday, a slight decrease in temperatures is forecast with moderate summer weather in mountainous areas and valleys and relatively hot weather in the rest of the Kingdom.

The temperatures in Amman on Friday will see a high of 30°C during the day and a low of 29°C at night, while on Saturday temperatures are expected to range between 29°C and 18°C.

In Zarqa, temperatures are forecast to hover between 33°C and 16°C on Friday, and between 32°C and 15°C on Saturday. 

Temperatures are forecast between 29°C and 19°C on Friday in Irbid, and 28°C and 18°C on Saturday. 

In Aqaba, temperatures are predicted to range between 37°C and 26°C on Friday and between 36°C and 25°C on Saturday.

The JMD also said fog formation is expected in the early morning hours in mountainous areas during the weekend.
