Ministry, USAID lay cornerstone for hospitality training department

AMMAN — The Ministry of Education and USAID laid the cornerstone for a new hospitality and tourism training department at Jabal Al Qusoor Hospitality Education School on Wednesday, according to a USAID statement.
As part of the renovations, the school’s ground floor will become a food and beverage facility and the first floor is being turned into a front office and housekeeping department.
The Education Ministry-funded JD220,000 renovation is expected to be completed in six months.
USAID is providing nearly JD16,000 worth of equipment for the food and beverage department, the statement said.
