Ministry monitoring situation of Jordanians in hurricane-affected US

AMMAN – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates is said it is monitoring the situation of Jordanian citizens living in the states of Florida, Georgia and Alabama through its operations centre, in coordination with the Jordanian embassy in Washington.
In a press release carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Thursday, the ministry called on Jordanians to abide by public safety instructions issued by local authorities, adding that the Jordanian embassy in Washington is taking various measures to identify the needs of citizens in the areas affected by the hurricane.
The embassy said it has not received any reports of incidents involving its citizens. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told citizens to contact the embassy’s hotline in Washington, in the event of emergency or request for assistance on +012022949522.
