AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry has been following up on the death of Ziad Bawwab, who died in a run-over incident in Saudi Arabia, Sufian Qudah, director of the ministry’s operations centre, said on Saturday.
The ministry informed the deceased’s brother of the incident and took measures to facilitate his travel to Saudi Arabia, Qudah said in a ministry statement. The Jordanian embassy in Riyadh has completed procedures for the transfer of the body to Amman, Qudah said, noting, however, that such measures take time, as the death was categorised as a homicide.
