AMMAN — The Public Sector Development Ministry does not fulfil a monitoring role and neither does it act on behalf of other public departments, Minister Khleef Al Khawaldeh said Monday.
Inaugurating a series of awareness workshops the ministry will be holding during this week in cooperation with the King Abdullah II Centre for Excellence, he said that the results of recent evaluation reports, issued by the centre, attribute a drop in performance quality to poor practice and application, according to a ministry statement.
Khawaldeh said the ministry will analyse performance gaps that are common among several public departments, before changing them to development initiatives.
