Minister of Interior releases 490 detainees

AMMAN — Minister of Interior Mazin Farrayeh on Monday instructed administrative governors to release 490 administrative detainees. The ministry’s decisions were made after a thorough examination of the detainees' cases, ensuring their release would not pose a threat to security or public order, according to a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The decision also aimed to give them an opportunity to reintegrate into society and lead normal lives alongside their families.
