AMMAN — The Centre for Defending the Freedom of Journalists (CDFJ) on Thursday condemned an attack on a group of journalists who were covering a protest against Israel’s attack on Gaza, which took place near the Israeli embassy on Wednesday.
In a statement, CDFJ said reporters in Jordan regularly face attack when covering any protest, charging that there are “systematic” and “deliberate” assaults, designed to prevent journalists from providing independent coverage of events.
