Media institute invites applications to MA programme

AMMAN — The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) announced the start of the master’s programme admission process for the academic year 2015-2016.

The MA degree in journalism and new media is awarded jointly by JMI and the University of Jordan, the institute said in a statement released Saturday.

Applicants can hand in their application forms by visiting the institute, or submiting the form electronically through the online application process on JMI’s website (www.jmi.edu.jo).

JMI will offer 35 scholarships this year, both full and partial.

Dean Basim Tweissi said that the master’s program will continue along the comprehensive exam track, and the thesis track, according to the statement.
