AMMAN — Amman’s Mayor Aqel Biltaji on Thursday vowed better services by Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) will work to develop and boost its services.
During a meeting with residents of Qweismah, Abu Alanda and Juweideh south Amman on Thursday, Biltaji said GAM will not have any budget deficit next year and so upgrading services will be affordable.
GAM is currently preparing a study on Qweismah to address zoning and traffic issues there, especially as the area will witness the launch of the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup which Jordan is hosting.
