Majali briefed on project to empower host community in Mafraq

AMMAN — Interior Minister Hussein Majali on Wednesday met with Ziad Musa, head of the Municipal Assistance to Zaatari Refugee Camp and Local Governments in Mafraq Governorate project funded by the Netherlands foreign ministry.
Musa briefed Majali on the project’s achievements so far in aiding local host communities in overcoming the negative impact of the Syrian refugee crisis.
The project aims to develop the abilities of interior ministry employees, solve problems resulting from the Syrian refugee influx into the Kingdom and achieve local sustainable development.
