LTRC approves licences for 6 new school transportation companies

AMMAN — The Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC) on Wednesday issued final approvals to license six new school transportation companies in Amman, Zarqa and Irbid.
Through these approvals, the commission aims to provide suitable school transportation services for public school students that are regulated according to modern practices, said Abla Wishah, head of the commission’s media and communication department, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
So far, the commission has issued four approvals in Amman, four in Zarqa and one in Irbid, said Wishah, noting that three firms have already begun operating in Amman and Zarqa.
