Lower House delegation commends Border Guards efforts

AMMAN — A delegation from the Lower House on Thursday visited the Border Guards’ positions in the northern region, where they were welcomed by the Border Guards’ commander and unit leaders, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The delegation was briefed on the tasks carried out by the brigade’s members. The guards’ duties include protecting and controlling the border as well as preventing infiltration and smuggling through patrol and electronic monitoring. The delegation commended the Border Guards’ professionalism and their efforts to safeguard the Kingdom.
