Lower House approves 4 agreements for legal cooperation with Ukraine

AMMAN — The Lower House, headed by Speaker Abdulmunim Oddat, on Sunday approved four agreements for judicial and legal cooperation with Ukraine, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The agreements include bilateral cooperation pertaining to extradition of criminals, transfer of convicted persons and mutual legal assistance in criminal and civil matters.

Minister of Justice Bassam Talhouni, and his Ukrainian counterpart, Deniz Maloyska, signed the four agreements at the end of 2019 in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, while the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified the agreements in September 2020.
