Louvre Abu Dhabi opens its doors

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Talal, special adviser to His Majesty, on Wednesday attended the inauguration ceremony of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi crown prince and deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces, and French President Emmanuel Macron inaugurated the museum, which contains 600 ancient pieces and modern artwork, in addition to 300 pieces that were borrowed from French museums.
