Load on national power grid reaches 3,085MW

AMMAN — The load on the national power grid on Tuesday increased by 365 megawatts (MW), reaching 3,085MW compared to 2,720MW on Monday out of a total capacity of 3,600MW, according to the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO).
NEPCO Production Planning Director Amin Zaghal told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that the highest load so far this winter was on January 27 at 3,250MW.
