Labour Ministry extends working hours

AMMAN — The Ministry of Labour on Saturday announced that it has extended working hours at its directorates to give non-Jordanian workers the opportunity to submit applications to rectify their status during the grace period.
The ministry has given foreign workers a grace period, starting on Sunday, to legalise their status in the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ministry’s departments across the Kingdom will receive employers and foreign workers between 8:30am and 5pm and on Saturdays between 9am and 4pm.
