Labour Ministry’s hotline service goes digital

AMMAN — The Labour Ministry has received 213 complaints via its hotline since the beginning of the year, according to a report issued by the inspection directorate at the ministry, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The complaints were about several issues including illegal workers, delayed payment of wages and violating rights related to overtime work.
The hotline receives complaints in several languages, the department said, adding that the ministry is working on a special app for complaints. The report also said the ministry recently added a new channel to receive complaints on WhatsApp at the number: 0790955557.
