King sends condolences over death of former Qatari ruler

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday sent a cable to Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, expressing his condolences over the death of the emirate's former ruler Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani, who passed away on Sunday.
King Abdullah expressed his sympathies to the royal family and the people of Qatar, according to a Royal Court statement.
