King, Putin to discuss region, anti-terror in Moscow

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday left for Moscow on an official visit during which he is scheduled to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on bilateral ties, especially in the fields of economy and energy.
Discussions will also cover the latest regional developments, foremost of which are the Syrian crisis, and efforts to combat terrorism and extremism, according to a Royal Court statement.
During the visit, King Abdullah will also attend the International Aviation and Space Show (MAKS) hosted by Zhukovsky city.
According to the show’s website, around 750 companies and manufacturers in the aviation and space industry are showcasing their products at the international show, which opens Tuesday.
HRH Prince Raad, Chief Chamberlain, was sworn in as Regent before Cabinet members, according to the statement.
