AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah joined worshippers for Friday prayer at the Royal Guard Mosque in Aqaba.
His Majesty and worshippers listened to the Friday sermon delivered by Sheikh Mohammad Huteibat, in which he reviewed the virtues of Ramadan and Laylat Al Qadr, which Muslims celebrate on the eve of Ramadan 27 to mark the anniversary of the revelation of the Koran.
In his sermon, Huteibat stressed that Islam carries great human values and calls for peace, harmony and respect for human rights, according to a Royal Court statement.
