King discusses Jerusalem with Saudi monarch

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Friday called Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and discussed the recent Israeli acts of aggression and violations against Al Aqsa Mosque and Al Haram Al Sharif.
The two leaders stressed the need for continued Arab-Islamic coordination and the importance of working with the international community, at all levels, to stop Israeli acts of aggression and violations at the compound.
King Abdullah briefed King Salman on Jordan’s efforts to stop these acts of aggression and violations and put an end to them, according to a Royal Court statement.
During the telephone call, the King thanked King Salman for Saudi Arabia’s efforts at the regional and international levels to stop the Israeli violations.
Friday’s telephone call came in the context of continued coordination and consultation between the leaderships of the two countries, regarding the various developments in the region to serve Arab and Islamic causes, the statement said.
