King condoles Brazilian president over plane crash

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday sent a cable to Brazil’s President Michel Temer to express condolences over the victims of the plane crash that killed all but six of the 77 people on board.
The plane was carrying members of Brazil’s Chapecoense football team, The Associated Press reported. In the cable, the King wished the survivors a speedy recovery, according to a Royal Court statement.
