On the occasion, His Majesty took to Twitter to commend the achievements of Jordan and Jordanians, expressing pride in workers’ sincere efforts in factories, fields, workshops and institutions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
“Jordan is proud of you when you leave your homes for the sake of the Kingdom's prosperity,” he tweeted in Arabic.
Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Omar Razzaz also extended greetings to the Kingdom's workers on the occasion, commending their efforts, notably during the coronavirus pandemic.
Highlighting that a number of workers have lost their jobs during the crisis, the premier, on his official Facebook page, said that the government is seeking to resume the production cycle without putting workers' health and safety at risk.
