Khitan, French ambassador discuss cooperation in transport field

AMMAN — Transport Minister Marwan Khitan on Thursday voiced the Kingdom’s aspiration to enhance cooperation with France and more assistance from Paris to develop the Jordanian transport system.
During a meeting with French Ambassador in Jordan Veronique Vouland-Aneini, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation in the transport field, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister called on French businesspeople to have a first-hand look at transport projects in Jordan, mainly the Jordanian national railway network project, and to consider establishing projects in this field.
The ambassador voiced her interest in the transport sector in Jordan and reviewed the latest developments in the region, the "distinguished" relations between the two friendly countries and ways to support and enhance them in various fields, especially in the transport sector.
