AMMAN — A delegation from the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and the King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC) participated in the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH), which took place in Doha earlier this month.
The delegation was headed by HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the KHCF’s board of trustees, and included HH Princess Dina Mired, director general of KHCF, and KHCC Director Asem Mansour.
Princess Ghida Talal participated in a panel discussion on “Delivering Affordable Cancer Care”, according to a KHCF statement.
“Providing patients with comprehensive and equal treatment opportunities is at the core of our cancer care model at KHCC,” she said.
Princess Dina took part in a panel discussion on “Communicating Complex Health Messages”.
“Healthcare was an issue that was somewhat overlooked in the past.
WISH has shed light onto the positive impact of choosing the right communication channels to effectively convey information to various segments of society…” she said.
