AMMAN — The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) on Sunday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Namaa Society, a charitable association of the Kuwaiti Social Reform Society with over 44 years of experience in humanitarian and developmental work within Kuwait.

The organisation aims to contribute to human development, community support and social coherence by supporting the poor, orphans, patients and those in need through both material and financial assistance.

The provisions of the memorandum establish a Namaa Society fund to provide support in covering the treatment costs for underprivileged cancer patients at the King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC).

A KHCF statement revealed that the fund's assistance will be directed towards the treatment of cancer patients from Gaza, as well as patients of different nationalities and age groups. The memo was signed by KHCF Director General Nisreen Qatamesh and Saad Otaibi, CEO of the Kuwaiti Namaa Charity, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
