Khasawneh, Ayed sworn in before King

AMMAN — Bisher Khasawneh on Wednesday took the oath of office before His Majesty King Abdullah as minister of state for legal affairs, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Prime Minister Hani Mulki and Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh attended the ceremony.
When new ministers were sworn in on January 15’s Cabinet reshuffle, Khasawneh was abroad, Petra reported. Also on Wednesday, Ali Ayed took the oath of office before King Abdullah as Jordan’s ambassador to Egypt and the Kingdom’s permanent representative at the Arab League in Cairo.
