Khaldi appointed as KADDB director general

AMMAN — A Royal decree was issued on Sunday appointing Maj. Gen. Omar Al Khaldi as director general of the King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) as of May 19, to succeed Shadi Ramzi Majali.
Khaldi has more than 34 years of experience with the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) in the areas of technical, administrative and logistics policies, as well as in safety and quality requirements.
He also has experience in mechanical engineering.
Born in 1959, Khaldi has assumed several responsibilities in the army, including budget planning, armament policy and international military cooperation programmes.
