Kazakhstan seeks boost in ties with Jordan

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received Baghdad Amreyev, the envoy of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev, who conveyed a message from the Kazakh president to the King, addressing ways to boost Jordanian-Kazakh ties and the latest regional and international developments.
During the meeting that was held at Al Husseiniya Palace, the King stressed Jordan's commitment to boosting Jordan-Kazakhstan ties of friendship and cooperation to reflect positively on the people of the two countries, according to a Royal Court statement.
Amreyev lauded the King’s efforts in conveying and defending the true image of Islam and commended the King’s ways of dealing with various regional issues.
The meeting was attended by King’s Rapporteur of the National Policies Council Abdullah Wreikat.
