JUST, UNICEF sign agreement to address water situation in Jordan

AMMAN — Jordan University for Science and Technology (JUST) and UNICEF Jordan signed a five-year agreement on Tuesday, establishing the basis for joint collaboration to address key challenges in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector in Jordan through innovative approaches, technologies and designs said a statement by the group.
As per the agreement signed by JUST President Dr Saeb Khreisat and UNICEF Jordan Deputy Representative Ettie Higgins, UNICEF will support the establishment of a “WASH Innovation Hub” incubator at the Ramtha-based University that will serve as a laboratory for the design of innovative solutions to Jordan’s water and wastewater challenges.
