AMMAN — Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh on Wednesday discussed with the US Senator Elizabeth Warren bilateral ties and the latest regional developments.

During the meeting, Judeh renewed Jordan’s rejection of the Israeli unilateral measures in occupied Palestinian lands. Judeh added that the absence of a just solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict that brings into existence an independent Palestinian state will ignite further terror and radicalism in the region.

The minister also reviewed with the visiting senator international anti-terror efforts.

The two sides also discussed the latest developments in Syria and the importance of finding a comprehensive political solution to the ongoing war there.

For her part, Warren stressed her country’s appreciation for the Jordanian pivotal role in achieving peace and stability to the region.
