JRTV ‘represents Jordanian identity’ — media minister

AMMAN — The government on Thursday highlighted its support for the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation (JRTV) and stressed that it values the corporation’s independence.
During a visit to JRTV, Media Minister Amjad Adaileh said that the corporation “represents Jordanian identity” and conveys the message of the Kingdom internationally, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister said that JRTV must march towards administrative reform, adding that the government is willing to provide training for workers in the corporation with the aim of improving its performance.
For his part, JRTV General Manager Mohammad Balqar said that the main studios of the corporation are undergoing updates, to be utilised next year.
