Jordan’s exports to Greater Arab Free Trade Area decline — DoS

AMMAN — The Kingdom’s trade balance with the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA) dropped by 47.3 per cent to some JD759 million in the first 11 months of 2020 compared with JD1.442 billion in the same period of 2019, the Department of Statistics (DoS) said on Tuesday.
National exports to GAFTA countries in the January-November period of 2020 went down by 3.4 per cent to JD1.823 billion compared with the same period of 2019, which reached JD1.887 billion, according to the DoS as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
