Jordan’s ambassador to Italy presents credentials

AMMAN — Jordanian Ambassador Qais Abu Daieh presented his credentials to Italian President Sergio Mattarella as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Jordan to Italy, during an official ceremony that took place at the Quirinal Palace in Rome, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Abu Daieh conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah to the Italian president and his wishes for the Italian people for further progress and prosperity.
President Mattarella asked Abu Daieh to convey his greetings and good wishes to His Majesty King Abdullah and the Jordanian people, praising the level of bilateral relations between the two countries and peoples and stressing the need to build on these relations to serve common interests.
The Italian president expressed his deep appreciation of His Majesty the King, praising his leadership and his endeavour to consolidate security and stability and promote the values of brotherhood, tolerance and peace in the region and the world, referring to the Lamp of Peace award that the King received in 2019 in appreciation of his efforts to achieve peace in the world.
