AMMAN —The Council of Ministers has exempted all Jordanians from paying entry fees to tourist and archaeological sites, as of Thursday and until the end of the current month.
Tourism Minister Nayef Al Fayez said the decision coincides with the announcement of the Jordanian Tourism Day, which was marked on Thursday.
It is also in line with the government’s efforts to encourage citizens to visit tourist and archaeological sites, Fayez said, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
