AMMAN — Alia Anton, a Jordanian citizen who was injured in the terrorist attack on New Year’s Eve at Istanbul’s Reina restaurant and club, arrived in the Kingdom on Monday.
A medical evacuation airplane airlifted her to Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sabah Al Rafie said Anton’s health condition had previously not allowed for transferring her to Amman, adding that once possible, she was airlifted to the Kingdom in coordination with the Royal Medical Services.
