Jordanian, US officials discuss labour issues, FTA

AMMAN — Jordanian and US officials on Wednesday held talks on improving the workplace environment and conditions of labourers.
The talks focused on recent amendments to the Labour Law and the Jordan-US Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
In addition, discussions covered several labour issues including the freedom of unions, gender discrimination in workplaces and sexual harassment.
