AMMAN — A big Jordanian trade delegation is scheduled to participate in the Dubai-hosted Gulfood 2021, which will be held late in February. The exhibition, which is planned to open on February 21, is the world’s second biggest annual food and hospitality show that attracts some 5,000 exhibitors from over 120 countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Jordanian commercial sector is keen to constantly participate in the five-day event, due to its worldwide reputation and significance, representative of the foodstuff sector in the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Raed Hamadeh, who will head the trade delegation, said on Saturday.
The participation of the Jordanian delegation constitutes an important opportunity to enhance cooperation and develop economic relations between Jordan and the countries participating in the food businesses, Hamadah pointed out.
